2021 Inaugural Speech

Amanda Gorman’s inaugural poem is combined with the DC flag and the US Capitol. I found Amanda’s poem very inspiring. She read this poem at the Capitol a few days after the US Capitol riot in Washington, DC. The design was then screenprinted on 5.5 in. x 7 in.

Materials: printmaking paper, Speedball printmaking ink, squeegee, and silkscreen

It’s Now

The saying: "It's not in the past, it's now, it's still" was screenprinted on paper, and T-shirts inspired by Jenny Holzer, Redaction Painting.
